Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer Takes 13 Nominations at Bafta Awards 2024
Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” tops the chart with 13 Bafta Film Awards 2024 nominations including Best Film and Best Director. Cillian Murphy received a nomination for Best Actor in the role of J Robert Oppenheimer, who was responsible for developing atom bomb. Although Barbie is the most profitable movie of 2023, it got five nominations while poor things have received eleven nods. The awards are scheduled to take place on 18th February, where Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone and Barry Keoghan will be some of the nominees.

Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling were nominated for “Barbie”, with the former being in contention to win as Best Actress. The award ceremony will be a fight between two movies.
Notable Omissions and Surprises
With nine nominations, the film “Killers of the Flower Moon” did not receive nods for Martin Scorsese, Leonardo DiCaprio and Lily Gladstone. For the film, Robert De Niro had his first acting nomination in 33 years. The film “One Life”, with Anthony Hopkins in it, received no nominations. The festival will be full of thrilling and stiff competition that honours the best cinematographic accomplishments.
