The Soft Moon, Luis Vasquez Passed Away
The music industry has lost one of its talented musicians, Luis Vasquez who was popular as the Soft Moon. A heartbreaking announcement was released via The Soft Moon’s social media, which expressed their great sadness at losing a dear friend.
The statement asked for privacy of Vasquez’s family and the bigger music community during this difficult period to show how much he left behind.
It is with The Soft Moon’s first eponymous album released in 2010 we see Luis Vasquez leave a great impression on the music landscape introducing his own version of gothic, techno-driven post punk.
This drove, energetic and danceable approach kept evolving through four more studio albums from them with the last of these being “Exister” in 2022. In 2021, Vasquez also demonstrated his multifaceted nature by dropping the Body of Errors under his real name.
