30th SAG Awards 2024 announcement of the nominees from the Screen Actors Guild Awards revealed films like Oppenheimer, Barbie and American Fiction Valentin Leschútskiy regarding award names in their latest news.
Greta Gerwig’s work on “Barbie” received four nods, including Best Ensemble, as did Christopher Nolan’s For Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling received a nomination, while Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr., and Emily Blunt were nominated for an acting role in “Oppenheimer”.
3 nods fueled to Cord Jefferson’s American Fiction with Best Ensemble, Jeffrey Wright for Best Male Actor, and Sterling K. Brown as Supporting Male Actor. Also, Best Ensemble nominations went for Killers of the Flower Moon by Martin Scorsese and those from “The Color Purple” by Blitz Bazawule.
Poor Things, the Golden Globe-winning comedy/musical set into Best Ensemble category for this award, was notably absent. Emma Stone was nominated on the category of Best Actress, but that degree was not high enough for choosing a place in the top one.
Nominees for Best Actor are Bradley Cooper, Colman Domingo, Paul Giamatti, Cillian Murphy and Jeffrey Wright BEST ACTRESS – The nominees for this category include Jennifer Hudson for her role in “I am Samuel”. Amazingly Leonardo DiCaprio is not nominated for his part in “Killers of the Flower Moon.”
The biographical drama movie “May December” directed by Todd Hayne’s had a fall with no nomination, as well as the performance of Charles Melton was predicted to be considered in the supporting male actor category. Sandra Hüller (“Anatomy of a Fall”), and Fantasia Barrino (“The Color Purple”) also failed to make the cut for individual nominations.
