Texas National Guard Fortifies Southern Border with Razor Wire Amid Supreme Court Ruling
In Eagle Pass, the troops from the Texas National Guard have intensified their border patrols with razor wire installations. This comes on the heels of a very recent decision by the Supreme Court that allowed Biden’s administration to remove the border protection.
Defiance Against Supreme Court Ruling
This came in the wake of many concerns over how well Biden’s administration has managed to handle the border security and some videos surfaced depicting Texas National Guardsmen assembling razor wire structures beneath an overpass.
Texas officials defied Charlie Kirk, the founder of the Turning Point USA organization. Governor Greg Abbott in reaction to the Supreme Court ruling restated Texas’s resolve for border security, saying that “Texas will not retreat” if there is a lack of proper federal measures.
Governor Abbott’s Resolve
In response, Governor Abbott posted a picture of the border on social media detailing how the Texas National Guard has continued to maintain control inside Eagle Pass. However, the setbacks and lawsuits have not deterred Abbott from his promised efforts to lock down the border.
He declared on Tuesday, “The battle is not done,” highlighting the state’s commitment to fight for its sovereignty against what he believes was a subpar federal response in relation to the border crisis.

Legal Challenges and Sovereignty
In like manner, echoed Governor Abbott’s sayings about the Supreme Court’s order which enables Biden to carry on a purportedly illegal effort abetted by unconscious American invasion. He ended with the conclusion that this fight is far from over and he will not stop fighting against Texas’s sovereignty.
Escalating Border Crisis
This heightened focus on border security comes against the background of a major swell in illegal immigration during the Biden administration. December alone witnessed over 300,000 hassles at the border, banning those who managed to enter undetected.
The financial times 2022 and 2023 recorded over 2.3 million and 2.4 million hassles, independently, along the southern border. With the Tucson Sector passing the loftiest number of hassles, the Del Rio Sector, encompassing Eagle Pass, ranks second, with over 81,000 hassles reported.
In this grueling script, Texas officers, including Governor Abbott and Attorney General Paxton, remain bent in their commitment to securing the state’s border and sovereignty, despite legal and logistical challenges.
